Finlandia fell to UWSP Pointers 77 to 6 but they scored their first touchdown of the season on a Darion Robinson reception thrown by Ronald Brown and held their first lead in school history.

In their second road game and against the defending National Champions the Finlandia Lions lost to the UW Whitewater Warhawks by the score of 66 to 3. Gabe Swanson of Kingford scored the first points in Finlandia history by kicking a 20 yd field goal in the 2nd quarter.
