Game #3: Finlandia @ UW Whitewater


Tyler Glass helps the Warhawks roll over Finlandia, 66-3 Sept. 19 in its home opener at Perkins Stadium. Glass was the leading rusher for UW-Whitewater with 61 yards but nine players contributed to the lopsided victory with rushes of 10 yards or more. (Bob Mischka photo)

In their second road game and against the defending National Champions the Finlandia Lions lost to the UW Whitewater Warhawks by the score of 66 to 3. Gabe Swanson of Kingford scored the first points in Finlandia history by kicking a 20 yd field goal in the 2nd quarter.
